Antes de tudo, converse com um professor. Ele vai montar um treino para você. Comece com exercícios leves e use pesos pequenos. Beba água antes, durante e depois do treino. Descanse bem entre os dias de treino — o corpo precisa de tempo para se recuperar.
Mas atenção: não use pesos muito pesados no começo. Não pule o aquecimento antes de treinar. Não treine todos os dias — três vezes por semana é o ideal para quem está começando.
