Step 3 — Language Focus

📖 Precisar de + infinitivo — To need to

A explains "você precisa jogar a PokéBola" — precisar + infinitive (sometimes with de before a noun) expresses necessity, a bit softer than ter que.

Pattern	Example	English
precisar + infinitivo	Você precisa jogar a bola.	You need to throw the ball.
precisar de + noun	Preciso de mais bolas.	I need more balls.
vai até + lugar	Vai até a loja.	Go to the store.

📖 Não é? — Confirming what you think

B checks his understanding twice with "não é?" — this simple tag question (like "right?" or "isn't it?") is added to the end of a sentence to confirm you've understood correctly.

Sentence + tag	Meaning	Notes

...para conseguir mais, não é?	...to get more, right?	Checking understanding
Também funciona: né? (casual)	Very common shortened form	Used constantly in speech

🎮 Vocabulário de jogos Jogar = to play/to throw (context dependent!), conseguir = to manage to get/obtain, acabar = to run out.
