📖 Adorar + infinitivo — Loving something

B says "adoro ouvir essas músicas" — I love listening to that music. Adorar expresses a stronger feeling than gostar de. It's very common in everyday Brazilian speech and works just like gostar + infinitive, without needing de between the verbs.

This dialogue is full of conversational tools — asking what kind of something someone likes, expressing a personal opinion, and agreeing. These phrases come up constantly in Brazilian conversation.

🔊 "Tu gosta" — again! Just like in Episode 30, speaker A uses tu with the você verb form: "tu gosta" instead of "tu gostas". This is completely natural in spoken Brazilian Portuguese across many regions. If you're using você, say "você gosta" — both are correct and both will be understood everywhere in Brazil.

Born in the 1960s, it blends the rhythmic roots of samba and bossa nova with poetic lyrics, jazz harmonies, and later rock influences. 🎸 Gilberto Gil — artist, activist, minister Gilberto Gil (born 1942, Bahia) is one of Brazil's most beloved and influential musicians.
