Read the dialogue

Two friends read and react to a new blog post describing an unpleasant acquaintance.

A: Você leu o novo post da Mara no blog dela?

Did you read Mara's new blog post?

B: Não, o que ela escreveu?

No, what did she write?

A: Ela disse que a colega de trabalho dela é muito chata e metida.

She said her coworker is very annoying and full of herself.

B: Que é isso! Ela não pode falar assim de uma colega no blog!

No way! She can't talk like that about a coworker on her blog!

A: Eu sei, mas ela disse que se a colega fosse mais gente boa, ela nem teria escrito nada.

I know, but she said if her coworker were nicer, she wouldn't even have written anything.

B: Bom, se fosse eu, eu ia conversar com ela pessoalmente, não colocar no blog.

Well, if it were me, I'd talk to her in person, not put it on the blog.

Que é isso! — No way! / Come on! (exclamation of disagreement)
English: no way! / come on! (exclamation expressing disapproval or disbelief)
Que é isso! is a common exclamation used to react with surprise or disapproval to something someone said or did.
Que é isso! Ela não pode falar assim!
No way! She can't talk like that!Que é isso, não precisa se desculpar.
Come on, no need to apologize.

Se + imperfeito do subjuntivo — Hypothetical "if" clauses
English: if + imperfect subjunctive (hypothetical situations)
Se + imperfeito do subjuntivo describes a hypothetical or contrary-to-fact situation, often paired with the conditional (seria, ia) in the main clause.
Se a colega fosse mais gente boa, ela nem teria escrito nada.
If her coworker were nicer, she wouldn't even have written anything.Se fosse eu, eu ia conversar com ela.
