Can you see…? / You just have to…
Você está vendo…? — In BP, perception verbs (ver, ouvir, sentir) commonly appear in the progressive gerund (estar + -ndo) in informal speech. This is different from European Portuguese and from English ("Do you see?" in English = "Você está vendo?" or "Você vê?" in BP, but the gerund form is much more natural in conversation.
É só + infinitivo — "You just have to / all you do is…". A very reassuring, common way to give simple instructions.

🌎 Culture note
In Brazil, asking strangers for directions is very common and people are generally very happy to help — often going out of their way to walk with you, point, or describe landmarks rather than street names. Brazilians typically give directions using landmarks (aquele prédio azul, ao lado do banco) rather than compass points or street numbers.
🔊 Phonology note
Note obrigado, viu? — viu is pronounced /viw/ with a final diphthong. It's a colloquial discourse tag unique to BP, expressing warmth. Also: desço (/ˈdɛsku/) — the sc before o is pronounced /sk/. And perto (/ˈpɛʁtu/) — the open e is a key BP vowel to practise.

Rewrite each instruction using é só + infinitivo to make it sound more reassuring and natural, like a local would say it.
