A couple disagrees on the couch about the value of a TV health and well-being show.

A: Ah não, mais um programa de saúde e bem-estar.

Oh no, another health and well-being program.

B: Mas você não acha importante poder informar o público dessas coisas?

But don't you think it is important to inform the public about these things?

A: Informar, tudo bem. Mas esse lixo só existe como diversão.

Inform, no problem. But this garbage only exists to entertain.

B: Entendo, mas às vezes tem coisas bem informativas também.

I understand, but sometimes they have really informative things too.

A: Olha lá, "vírus do amor" que provoca paixão. Que bobagem.

Look at that, a "love virus" that creates passion. What nonsense.

O que você quiser — futuro do subjuntivo

English: whatever you want (future subjunctive after an indefinite pronoun)

Quiser is the futuro do subjuntivo of querer, used after words like o que to mean "whatever" — describing an unknown future choice or possibility.

Pense o que você quiser.
Think whatever you want. Faça o que quiser.
Do whatever you want.

Vou continuar + gerúndio

English: I'm going to keep on doing something

Vou continuar + gerund describes an action that will keep happening into the future — a common way to express persistence or defiance in conversation.

Eu vou continuar assistindo e gostando.
I'm going to keep on watching and liking it. Ela vai continuar estudando português.
She's going to keep on studying Portuguese.

Que + substantivo (exclamação) & vocabulário de TV

English: What + noun! (exclamation) + television vocabulary

Que + noun (no article) makes a quick exclamation — a very handy, simple structure for reacting to something.

Informativo — informative · Lixo — junk/garbage (slang for low-quality content)

🔊 Phonology note Notice how quiser and continuar both carry stress on their final syllable — practice keeping that stress clearly audible, since English speakers often default to stressing an earlier syllable.
