Language Reference

LER, OUVIR and VER — present indicative

These three verbs are irregular. The eu form is the one to memorize — the other forms follow a regular pattern.

LER (to read)OUVIR (to listen to)VER (to see, to watch)
euleioouçovejo
você, ele, ela, a gentelêouvevê
nóslemosouvimosvemos
vocês, eles, elasleemouvemveem

a gente = we, but it takes the same form as ele/ela: a gente ouve (not a gente ouvimos).

VER covers both see and watch: Eu vejo uma série.
